yet another...

i learned how to chain stitch today...
go watch this video...it is a cinch!
and my header is the result of my new skill!
actually it is a combo of chain and backstitching...
and i KNOW my stitches are too tight right now, but
this IS my first go :) and i like :)
i was inspired to learn as a result of many peeps
but amy tan's super adorable tees prompted me!
also this lil stitched piece of fabric is gonna
be part of a lil somethin special....to come!
but you are gonna have to wait and see!
so i will leave you hangin there!

these are the days...

that i want to remember!
so we go bowling and i bowl a flippin *145*!!!
amazing!! i know! i rocked! lol!
it has to be an all time high for me :D
but it was really about being together and having fun.
family time. simple. family time.
i loved every moment.
then the cherry on top was doing the photo booth separately
with all of my girls!
*SCORE* scrappy goodness!

then quickly realizing! hey, i haven't printed that

ok...so i really need to spend the next few days NOT
perusing my fav. blogs, websites and actually get down to being
productive ~sigh~
need to catch up on my 365's...oh, yeah...i have been taking
them, just not editing or printing them.
and i need and will finish my projects from Scrap Etc without
a doubt!
so the weekend it set! staying up late-r to do some projects and
wearing my big photo printer out (watch me run out of ink or something)
until then...i did edit this one photo with a nichole van worn photo texture.


and guess what??!!
i have the PERFECT LO schemed up for it!! :P

blogger being finicky again...necessitating another post...grrr!
anyhoo...my welcome home by my family was awesome!!!
signs, balloons, flowers, CLEAN HOUSE and lots of LOVE!!!
i am thinkin this whole goin away thing is pretty sweet!!! :D
i did miss my family and am happy and blessed to be back home.
even tho i almost missed my connection in Detroit...good thing or
i would've bawled!!! LOL!

let me tell ya...heidi is everything i expected. i mean...WOW...speechless i am :D so i will just smile. i am gonna try for the photo op tomorrow in our 2nd class. she is always so gracious but i gave her a break today ;)
and i am totally looking forward to Jenni Bowlin's class tomorrow as well!
and hopefully will get to meet Amber Ulmer!

no, really!
evidently last night there was a bit of a tremor here in Nashville around
4:30 am!!! who knew...not me...i was asleep! but that is the story.

not only does the earth shake here, but the whole Scrap Etc. is just...
indescribable!

ok...so i am here in Nashville...
tired...overwhelmed...this place is HUGE!!!
it is reeeeeaaaalllly late for me right now...
need to go snooze.
but i wanted to post a juicy lil peek of my ATC

i am not sure i am happy with them....but what
is done is done and i can't change 'em now!

a lil sump'in...

ok...i am breathing easier now...for now.
i haven't scrapped in so long so i put this lil
digi together...ummm....in the car while my
daughter was getting her braces off! LOL!
i HAD to do something...the waiting room is small
so i stay in my car...normally reading, but today i went
digi in the car!!! that sounds...well, we will leave it @ that! ;)
look @ my lil punkin gettin air while she is jumpin rope...awww
she puts a smile on my face everytime! *smooches*
