*first of all, challenging myself just to scrap
*then i decided to scrap a picture that is non-edited!!!
no photoshop, nothing. these would be referred to as SOOC (straight out of the camera)
the scrap mojo seemed to flow and i never beat myself up over trying to get it "perfect"
if i did that, i would never scrap. i normally just get an initial idea in my head and just go
with the flow...
next, i have had this picture of me for a long time. i remember taking it from my mom's house and getting scanned, but never did anything with it.
so, as you can see this is a very dated picture!!! lol...i am guessing i am about 4 years old in this pic. pigtails--my main hair do as a child. :)
i guess i must have picked this particular picture b/c i see such strong resemblances in myself @ this age to my oldest and youngest daughters, as my middle child looks nothing like me.
it was all good and fun. not so hard to get into it as i initially thought.
*the best part of all of this was that i was using my stuff.
you see, i got into this bad rut of being part of monthly kit clubs, one or two, and i would
feel so guilty about not using the stuff. i mean i was using it, but more than often it was piling up without being touched.
since about Oct, i haven't been getting anything, NOTHING at all. i just felt like i was being wasteful.
so it felt good to scrap with what i had! i didn't have the newest and the latest, but that is O.K by me.
and it all turned out pretty cute if you ask me. ;)
