This has been my life...

straight on the heels of my mother recovering from surgery, our family dives
straight into getting a puppy!
i am crazy, i know!!!
we haven't had an animal in the house for a LOOOOONNNG time!
this momma wasn't prepared...at all!
i am convinced at this point that it would have been easier to have another baby b/c after all, you
can put diapers on those little buggers!
don't let the cute looks fool ya...she is a piece of work that is a lot of work.
i never imagined my life revolving around the schedule of a puppy!
needless to say, my trip to Louisville next month is much anticipated in this momma's mind!!!
of course, all of the great company will help, too! ;D

i have NOT been creative as of late.
i AM looking forward to spring and getting my photography rolling again.
i AM working on bringing some changes to the photo blog by say...end of April,
so stay tuned on that!!!
i DID knit something for a friend for her birthday!!!!
i AM still in the midst of bball season with the oldest girl!
i AM DONE with being cold! Amen!

So....how have ya'll been???

ok...so here is banner #2 above.
i will post the 1st one later in the previous post.
this one i am more happy with as it is a mish-mosh of just about everything.
from photography to scrapbooking to flowers to just making stuff.
and, boy, have i noticed how my digi skills have changed over time!
things don't seem nearly as hard as they used to while i know i am still
trying to climb the virtual learning curve! ;)

i feel...eh, about it.
kinda torn b/c i have most of my digi elements on another computer.
yet, i would like to put up a nice photo or two as well.
so, how about a photo collage or something?
maybe i should design 3 banners and then ya'll can vote and help me choose!

well, I LOVE PW aka The Pioneer Woman
She cooks awesome food :D
She takes amazing pictures :D
She is funny as all get out :O)
And I stalk her blog daily...in a very fun and informative way...lol!

Back to interesting....
the other day i was perusing through the photography section of her
blog and she challenged her readers to use some of her PS actions and post
them in her Flickr group, so i thought, "hey! i am game for that!"
her actions are FREE btw...so if you have PS then go download them...not one, but
two sets!!! i love them both and have trouble using them sparingly.

back to intersting....so today, again, i go back to her blog to see that "VOILA!"
she featured my interesting photo of my interesting self...er, i guess i should say my
interesting scarf/shirt ;) along with other oh so beautiful pictures.
What an honor...what an honor...what an honor...(this is what i kept telling myself)
i mean, for me, this is right up there with being featured in Life Images magazine!!!
I mean p-Dub has like thousands of readers or at least hundreds of daily readers, and I
can only imagine that hundreds of ppl submit photos to her flickr group!!!

So, she made my day!!! Thank you Pioneer Woman for lifting me out of the doldrums and snow and ice and cold and making my day with this very "interesting" picture of me and my focused scarf...cuz well that is what i do...go for interesting-ness and focus on the other things...mostly things other than my mug!!!
But I promise that if you ever have me take your picture that your face will be in frame and in focus in at least a few pics!!! :D
